5 Places To Win By By Shopping Small
The holidays are here, and that means it’s time for getting together with family, great food, and lots and lots of shopping! That last one can be a daunting task for everyone, but if you have hearing loss, we know it’s especially challenging. The thing is, getting out isn’t just a part of the holiday rush–it’s actually healthy!
Engaging in the community does wonders for your brain. Connecting with others in public reenergizes our bodies and keeps our minds sharp.
And we have great news! This Saturday is national Shop Small® Saturday. It’s a day to celebrate local small businesses and support the community. According to the Small Business Administration, Pennsylvania small businesses account for 99.6% of all companies in the state. Small business has a big impact in our local communities.
Do you want to know our number one reason to get excited about shopping small businesses? (It’s the number one reason why we love being a small business ourselves.) At a small business, you’re treated like a person–not just a number. We love shopping locally and supporting our community, and we think Shop Small® Saturday is the perfect time to do just that.
Here are 5 great places to shop small in our community this Saturday:
